SPEC-D - Virtual Drift Handbook This will be the rules and bounds for the 2025 - 2026 virtual drift series. Event Logisitcs Entry Fees / Registration Entry Fees Entry fees will be collected each round this year.  Part of the reasoning behind this is to alleviate last minute drop outs and show dedication to the event.  The cost will be $15 per driver. Entries will be collected via the SPEC-D / BCDA Storefronts. If for some reason you are unable to attend the event, you have up to 48 hours before the event to ask for a refund. Event setup and server slotting for practice occurs within the last 2 days and it is very inconvenient to need to reboot the server when these days have peak server traffic for practice.  Any driver that no shows on event day or requests for money back after this grace period this will not be refunded. LINKS FOR TICKET PURCHASES TO BE POSTED SHORTLY. On top of collecting entry fees, there will be Cash Prizes this year.  All ticket sales will cease at 11:59PM the night before the event.  Registration Once registered, make sure you are on the discord with us: SPEC-D EVENTS: https://discord.com/invite/R94EPmgKmy BCDA EVENTS - https://discord.gg/Qj6FZP2Zmm All event day communication occurs there.  We will need to collect the following from you to slot the server: Preferred Car Number IRL Spec-D drivers / BCDA drivers are entitled to use their existing car numbers over any new registrants.  Please keep a 2nd number in mind in case you are not able to use your first option.  Car choice Car make / Model Livery Color In Game Username Keep in mind this needs to be PG. It gets called out in the server and on stream during winner announcements.  If you are new to Assetto and the world of Content Manager, a quick run down on how to do so is available here. Requirements / Restrictions: SPEC-D Pro Competitors: Must be able to provide photo proof of a sim setup during the discord registration completion. no controllers will be allowed in the Pro competitions. Assetto Corsa will be locked out to wheel only on comp days.  We would like to keep these competitions as close to simulation conditions as possible, and it has been witnessed before that controller players do have an advantage in certain conditions.  No custom cars, custom liveries are allowed for existing VDC cars.  BCDA Grassroots Competitors: FOR THE MOMENT --- Can play with either a sim setup or a controller. The idea behind this is to involve / welcome new players into the world of competitive drifting.  NO CUSTOM CARS. Car pack will be chosen and locked to ensure fairness and no other competitive edge outside tuning the vehicle in the game.  Cash Prizes / Payouts PRIZES With the announcement of driver registration fee collections, we have announced cash payouts this year.  PER ROUND PAYOUTS Each round will have individual payouts to the top 3 drivers, a lump sum of $175 per round.  Per Round: 1st  $100 CAD 2nd $50 CAD 3rd $25 CAD Over the course of 3 rounds, we have a total of $525 in cash prizes in total, per series.  OVERALL SEASON CHAMPIONS: These prizes are yet to be determined, wether yet cash or physical items pending on location of recipients.  More information will be announced as decisions are solidified.  Per Round: 1st  TBD 2nd TBD 3rd TBD PAYOUTS Payouts will occur the same week after the event.  Our policy will be to pay you the winnings from each round in full.  We WILL NOT be able to deduct any amount from your winnings to place toward your next entry in either series.  Methods of collecting your winnings: CANADA - E-TRANSFER / PAYPAL USA / INTL - PAYPAL ONLY Lobby / Discord Ettiquite Practice Days These days are basically a free for all. If you see us in a chat, feel free to join.  Event Days Foul Language Absolutely no foul language in chats.  Discord voice chat has a chance of being streamed from time to time. We would like to stay as professional as possible during the streams.  Treat text chats in the same reguard. Voice Chat Split Down Format Runthrough Attendance Attendance starts shortly after the lobby assembles for the event start time.  At this point, you will need to:  Be in the appropriate discord server / chat Have a microphone / headset to be able to verbally confirm your presence for attendance / qualifying runs if you are unable to do this, you will be disqualified. It is important you are able to interact and respond to call ups and call outs, and be ready to roll when the judges are as well.  Qualifying format: All registrants will be given a chance to qualify for a position in the top 32 bracket. Due to the nature of these events, qualifying and the top 32 bracket must be run in the same day.  Any driver who does not earn a score sufficient enough to be in the top 32 is eliminated from competition.  We will run the full amount of registrants through qualifying. Players will run in the order of car number, lowest to highest. if arrangements have been made to have a late run, players will be bumped to the bottom of the list. if no show by this time, then the player is disqualified.  Each player will get their turn to do 2 back to back runs which will be judges by a panel of three judges on: line (30 pts) angle (30 pts) style (30 pts) x-factor / wow factor (10 pts) this is split by the 3 judges, each get to vote 0 - 10 and the average between the three is the final x factor.  After the qualifying session has been completed, we will advance onto the top 32 bracket.  The top 8 qualifiers earn additional points in turn to their qualifying position as noted below: Qualifying Pos. Bonus Championship Points 1 8 2 7 3 6 4 5 5 4 6 3 7 2 8 1 For example, if driver 1 finishes with a 97, and driver 2 finishes with a 95, driver 1 earns 8 bonus points, and driver 2 earns 7, etc.  Drivers whom zeroed on both qualifying runs will not be allowed to compete in competition.  During qualifying, you are allowed to reset to pits for fresh tires.  Halftime Pending on the amount of signups and the length qualifying takes, we will take a short halftime of 10-15 minutes, so that judges / stream help may top up on necessities and take a bathroom break.  Top 32 Format For the virtual events, we will do a top 32 format. The bracket is seeded so that there should be an equal and fair chance for each driver to prove their ground and advance onward in the event championship.  The event will start by running the LB1 / RB1 (top 32) Via process of elimination, moving to LB2  / RB2 (top 16) again, process of elimination to LB3 / RB3 (Great 8) Process of elimination again leads to LB4 / RB4 (Final 4) After the first 2 battles are done in the final 4, leaving us with the Battle for 3rd and the Final battle, no further battle winners are announced until the end of the broadcast / final battle is completed.  During battle, you are NOT ALLOWED to reset to pits for fresh tires.  Winners Circle / Announcements At this point, we will assemble to the winners circle spots for announcements and celebration donuts.  Stream ends shortly after that.  Livestream Yes, we do livestream these events.  YouTube links will be provided the week of the event. See the video below for an example of how previous events were broadcast.  We have made an extensive system that works real time with Google Sheets and some OBS overlay integration so that qualifying scoring, judges decisions and a few extra tidbits show up right in the stream.  Real Time Qualifying On top of that, some pretty cool mods provided by the community help us livestream the event from multiple angles. Custom Animated Win Card Some of the tools and mods used Assetto Corsa OBS Helper is free over on github and comes well documented. You'll need a copy of content manger and CSP to get going with it. A few custom camera scripts were used to assist with getting the angles just right for the judges.  I use this older version of a Drone Camera to get other angles not hard coded in the camera files in between runs.  A stream deck helps reduce the amount of on screen switching by allowing me to program OBS scenes and volume controls right to it. Highly recommend the model linked or it's bigger brother if you get into streaming like this.  You can make custom camera files that follow the AI splines on most tracks. A wonderful guide is composed  Here on Overtake.gg on how to do these AI files on your own should a track not have them, as any Track Cams [F3] will not work without an AI file.  CamInfo and CamTool 2 are useful for getting coordinates right or locking down custom splines to make the custom track cams or for some cool replays.  Thank you to the community for making all that you have for this game. Without the kit we use above, none of this would be possible to present these streams to an audience in this way.  In the future, there may be write up on the entire setup process from start to finish.  VR / LAG / Equipment Failures Equipment Readiness Just like you would with a vehicle, we expect your equipment to be up to par and ready for competition day.  For future competitions the following is expected: A working, in tact and secured base station, pedal mount, shifter and e-brake. You are allowed to call one competition time out of 5 minutes, one time, over the entire event.  If using VR, we prefer a tethered setup. If you use a wireless headset, you are liable for all signal disruptions. This means if your VR headset dies or loses connection during a run, causing you to break line, smash into another driver etc, we will not accept this toward the lag clause- this is an instant zero When you are waiting for your turn to run in the lobby for qualifying / battle, use these times to plug your headset in to charge. You do not need to sit in the lobby for the entire duration of the event.  Lag / High Ping Ping is the amount of time a packet takes to travel round trip between endpoints. In Layman's terms, When the ping is higher, the quality of your connection is less direct to the server. This is what induces stuttering effects or where you see a car keeping speed, but jittering in steering angles (especially in drift servers) Should there be a server wide lockup that increases ping, we can briefly pause judged sections till stability returns. If the competition meter shows a large variation in ping instability for a driver during a judged run whether qualifying or during battle, the judges will review the replay and determine if lag / ping was indeed a factor. Only then, players are eligible to invoke a Lag clause only once per battle, at the discretion of the judges findings from the replay footage. Should the player run into any other issues with connection stability after this one time invocation, they run the risk of disqualification at the judges discretion.  It is recommended that you hardwired in, or on a very stable WiFi connection.  2.4 GHz WiFi networks will be slower in speed, but higher in signal strength over distance. Optimal for low speed traffic. 5 GHz WiFi networks tradeoff higher speeds, but over a shorter distance.  Please factor in the above when setting up your simulator station if running on WiFi.  SPEC-D / PRO Pro Series Car Pack The Pro series will be restricted to the following car pack: Virtual Drift Championship 5.0 Cars - https://linktr.ee/virtualdriftchampionship livery mods will be allowed.  You can save the logo below for use on your vehicle . Last season we tried using custom cars between everyone, but the issue was late submissions, physics combinations that easily gave an advantage over the other vehicles by combining the best of the best into one car, or by having non legitimate physics.. This is going to be completely avoided this season by doing this in the restricted manner, and leaving it to the VDC pack. This also enables a greater scope of players to partake in our series by not having to redownload updates to vehicles or car packs every other session join.  Possibly a Spec-D VDC car pack will be released after the season, and may be used in the future.  25-26: NOV 29th - Round 1 - Rad Torque Raceway Nov 29th, 2025 Stream starts / Practice: 6:00 PM MST for 1hr 15 min Attendance / Role Call: 7:00 PM MST Below, you should see a clock synced to MST As well as a countdown timer to 7:00 November 29th.    An event ticket must be purchased on the  https://spec-d.ca/ storefront.  Event Buy in -- $15 CAD https://thebcda.com/products/specd-bcda-virtual-drift-series MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT EVENT SELECTED AS THE SUB PRODUCT TYPE.  TICKER SALES CLOSE AT 11:59 PM ON NOVEMBER 28TH At this point you will be contacted for Car # and Car slotting.  Event Payout: 1st - $100 CAD 2nd - $50 3rd - $25 Players will have the option to discuss things with judges before the event starts.  The qualifying bracket will be built at 7:15 PM MST, and qualifying will start shortly after.  __Practice as much as you'd like as the server is up **24/7** otherwise. __ Shoot a message on Discord if you're looking for someone to practice with.  SERVER INFO Server: Click to Open See who is driving in the server here :  Basic Requirements: Track: Rad Torque Raceway Car Pack: Virtual Drift Championship (VDC) 5.0 Car Pack   Tsujigiri Start Lamp 19 spots available in lobby + 1 for host / streaming / start lamp Can swap players in and out of lobby to do qualifying runs if more than 16 players sign up.  Youtube Stream Link will be posted later on.  ENTRY LIST LAST UPDATED NOV 26 @ 1:22 AM 25-26: JAN 10th - Round 2 - STRATOTECH RACEWAY January 10th 2025 Stream starts / Practice: 4:30 PM MST  Attendance / Role Call: 5:00 PM MST Below, you should see a clock synced to MST As well as a countdown timer to 5:00 PM MST January 10th.      An event ticket must be purchased on the  https://spec-d.ca/ storefront.  Event Buy in -- $15 CAD -  TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT EVENT SELECTED AS THE SUB PRODUCT TYPE.  TICKET SALES CLOSE AT 11:59 PM ON JANUARY 9TH Prior to this point you will be contacted for Car # and Car slotting. SERVER INFO Server #1:  Click to Open See who is driving in the server here :  Server #2:  Click to Open See who is driving in the server here :  Basic Requirements: Track: Stratotech Park 2.0 - Hexmod Car Pack: Virtual Drift Championship (VDC) 5.0 Car Pack   Tsujigiri Start Lamp 29 spots available in lobby + 1 for host / streaming / start lamp Can swap players in and out of lobby to do qualifying runs if more than 16 players sign up.  Track Limitations to 30 in a lobby. Any driver and/or team member that conducts him/herself in an inappropriate manner with the officials or judges will be subject to the same penalties as listed below. *** GENERALLY before every event, we have a brief 15-20 minute window for drivers to discuss anything with the judges.  ## DISQUALIFICATION - Disqualification Applies to any Competitor, or Team for technical or driver infractions. - It can also include loss of all points, trophies and prize money and any additional awards. - Disqualification will be written on the amended official results. - Awards and prize money will be adjusted by Spec-D accordingly. ## SERIES DIRECTOR The Series Director shall be the executive responsible for the general conduct of all aspects of competition at an event for which he/she has been assigned including conduct of participants and officials, on-course safety issues, application of the Spec-D. Rules and Regulations. He/she shall ensure that all provisions of these rules are conformed to. The Series Director has the authority disqualify or penalize any vehicle that does not conform to the requirements of the Rules and specifications of the Series. In the event of an infraction, it is the duty of the Disciplinary Committee to take appropriate action as provided for in these regulations. The Series Director has the “right of first refusal”. If a team interprets a rule in such a way as to prepare a vehicle beyond the intent of the rule, the Series Director may disallow the preparation and issue an immediate clarification. ## JUDGES Judges are responsible for determining scores and points assigned to individual or team competitors based on the competition criteria determined Spec-D. Judges or other entities as assigned by Spec-D will also compile and distribute official results (after notification that all protests are completed and that the Scorer and one official judge has declared the results “official”) for all qualifying and head to head battles. Pit & Course Conduct ## 5. 1. GENERAL PIT, PADDOCK, AND COURSE RULES Once practice is officially declared over and qualifying / competition is about to begin, the following rules will be implemented: - Revving of engines, bouncing off the rev limiter, and burnouts while not on course will not be tolerated. - No driver may enter a “hot” course without approval from the Race Control. - The Series Director or his/her delegate is the authority in enforcing start line, grid, pre-grid, paddock, and the competition course. Start Line & Initiation ## 5. 2. START LINE PROCEDURE The start line is situated at the beginning of the course and is often marked. It is the official starting point of each qualifying run and tandem battle. The start line official, which signals when the vehicle(s) can leave the start line. During both qualifying and tandem battles, there may be a chicane that is designed to require the lead driver to lift off the throttle momentarily after leaving the start line. This chicane is in place to slow the lead driver down off the line and allow the chase driver to maintain proximity down the straight away leading up to initiation. It is outlined with cones to make it visible to all drivers. If the lead driver hits one or more cones within the chicane during a tandem battle, the battle will be halted and restarted via a flagger or restart light posted trackside prior to initiation. The location of the flagger or restart light will be discussed during the driver’s meetings prior to competition. During tandem, if the lead driver hits one or more cones out of their position, in anyway on the first start, there will be a restart. If the lead driver hits one or more cones on the second start, there will be a restart. If the lead driver hits one or more cones on the third start, the lead driver will be given an automatic INCOMPLETE. Judges or Officials may call a restart based on criteria discussed in the drivers meeting. ## 5. 3. INITIATION During both qualifying and tandem the vehicle must be sideways as it passes the single standing cone in the “3, 2, 1” cone sequence placed trackside. For the additional Tandem procedure see TANDEM INITIATION PROCEDURE   If the track chosen for competition has no marked initiation line, appropriate discussion will be had prior to competition beginning.  Qualifying Format and Scoring Criteria ## 5. 4. QUALIFYING FORMAT Drivers will complete two consecutive runs on the course in order of car number. DURING QUALIFYING: 8 Drivers at a time will be in queue in the lobby to do their runs.  This is to ensure server stability and reduce latency among drivers (stable ping) Drivers may disconnect after both runs have been completed and an official score given.  NO OTHER DRIVERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE LOBBY.  ## 5. 5. QUALIFYING OVERVIEW Qualifying is supposed to establish what a good lead will look like in tandem. Committed, aggressive runs that give the chase driver a challenge to follow, due to the technicality of the run are ideal. For example, the judges do not want to see the lead driver driving fast and shallow in order to run away from the chase driver. Another example of what not to do, is the lead driver parking the chase driver around inside clipping points. ## Line, Angle and Style Scoring Details: Line and Angle scoring will deal only with the zones, clips and touch-and- go areas and how the Line and Angle of the vehicle are performed and executed in these areas. Style will deal with scoring all the areas not contained within the zones and clips. In these areas the Style judge will be watching for Commitment and Fluidity and linking together the course with proper execution from initiation to zone to clip to zone to finish, etc. The portion of the course from the start line to initiation is also contained within Style. Examples: Bobbles, mistakes, wall taps, etc. that cause a reduction in Line and/or Angle that happen in a zone, touch-and-go, or at clipping points will result in a deduction of points for either Line, Angle, or both. Style will look at how the vehicle behaves in the areas between clipping points, zones, and touch-and-go’s, as well as leading up to and through initiation. The setup for a transition, the transition itself and how settled the car is post-transition, as it heads to a scored area for line & angle is what is being looked at here for the Style judge. Is the driver using their momentum to set up for an upcoming outside zone, or are they approaching it tentatively and then jumping on the throttle? Does the approach to an outside zone outlined by a wall look aggressive and committed? Did the driver attain a low amount of angle on transition between an inside clip and an outside zone and then have to add more angle before entering the zone? Does the driver have poor accel/decel management? These are some of the example questions the Style judge will want to answer.Scoring Reference Guide: Style (30 points) Commitment - Forward motion of the vehicle - Aggressive on throttle to initiation - Initiation (back on throttle quickly, initiation before latest initiation point, quick rate to angle, smooth) - Approaching walls and track edges with confidence - Maintaining proper pace (as per the accel/decel map) Fluidity - Motion of the vehicle on its own axis Initiation (smooth, quick rotation, no corrections). - Rotation quickness (quick or lazy) - Rotation smoothness (smooth or choppy) - Rotation accuracy (was the right amount of angle achieved? Too much or too little, that required a correction either way to maintain drift and/or the desired line) - Maintaining a smooth radius from zone to zone or approaching a clip Line (30 points) Judged in outside zones and at inner clips, based on vehicle’s proximity to marked areas. Where walls are present, line will be judged on the proximity of the bumper to the wall. Where no walls are present, line will be judged based on tire’s proximity to the track edge and or inside clips. Angle (30 points) Judged in outside zones and at inner clips. Based on the angle of the vehicle compared to the direction of travel. X-Factor (10 points) Wow factor of the run.  All three judges will independently pick a wow factor score out of 10 total points.  The average out of the 3 independent scores will be calculated and represented as the final X-Factor score.  DEDUCTION EXAMPLES - Double initiation - Tire off course - Missing zones and clips - Straightening - Off line - Lack of Angle ## 5. 6. INCOMPLETE QUALIFYING RUNS If a driver does any of the following mistakes in a qualifying run, the driver will not receive a score for that run and therefore the run will be considered INCOMPLETE - Spinning Out - Opposite drift - Drifting with the opposite angle required at that point on course ## 5. 7. QUALIFYING TIE BREAKER In the event of a tie in qualifying the following chart will be implemented. Tie Breaker 1 High Qualifying Score (HQS) 2 Low Qualifying Score (LQS) 3 HQS Style Score 4 HQS Angle Score 5 HQS Line Score 6 LQS Style Score 7 LQS Angle Score 8 LQS Line Score Tandem Format ## 5. 8. TANDEM ELIMINATION FORMAT The Top 16 Qualified drivers are placed in a standard bracket based on qualifying position. The tandem battles are single elimination head-to- head battles consisting of two runs per battle with the winner moving on in the bracket. The higher qualifier will always lead the first run. ## 5. 10. TANDEM JUDGING CRITERIA Judges are looking for the driver that performs better overall in the tandem battle, but if the judges are unable to find a clear winner, a One More Time (OMT) is called. The Judges will watch both Run 1 and Run 2. They will also compare both lead runs and both chase runs and then determine which driver was the better overall driver once both runs have been completed. LEAD DRIVER GOALS: - Run the qualifying line - Run a 100 point qualifying run - Run a chase able lead run - Follow the Accel/Decel map LEAD DRIVER COMPROMISES: - Less angle than the ideal qualifying run - Tighter line than the ideal qualifying run - Poor transitions - Trying to get away from the chase driver in any way that compromises line, angle or style. Chaseable lead run will have filled the zones, hit the clips and maintained a consistent speed and/or slowed/braked in the proper areas, which gives the chase driver a reasonable opportunity to chase and mimic with good proximity. Un chaseable lead run will have a variety of errors and or deductions that make it difficult for the chase driver to mimic or keep up with while in drift. A lead run filled with compromises will be a run with a disadvantage, all other things being equal. CHASE DRIVER GOALS: - Initiate no later than the lead driver - Maintain close proximity to the lead driver with as much duration as possible - Match or better the lead driver angle - Mimic the lead driver transitions and line throughout the course CHASE DRIVER COMPROMISES: - Cheating the line compared to the lead car - Cheating angle compared to the lead car - Timing and location of initiation - Timing of transitions and overall driving compared to the lead car The chase driver goal is to complete the course with as much proximity to the lead driver as possible, while mimicking the lead driver’s angle, line and transition points and style. The chase driver must initiate no later than the lead driver, make no corrections or mistakes, and remain in drift until the finish line has been passed to show his/her abilities in comparison to the other driver. A chase driver that does not establish and maintain proximity may be at a disadvantage. A chase run filled with compromises will be a run with a disadvantage, all other things being equal. ## 5. 11. INCOMPLETE TANDEM RUNS If a driver does any of the following mistakes in a tandem run, the driver will not receive a score for that run and therefore the run will be considered incomplete The following constitute an INCOMPLETE in tandem: - Spinning Out - Opposite drift- Drifting with the opposite angle required at that point on course - Hood, hatch, trunk and/or doors opening during a run - Collision with the other driver that is considered “avoidable” or unsportsmanlike - A chase driver intentionally not chasing the lead driver after an INCOMPLETE was scored on the previous run. - Three consecutive restarts from chicane cones or an official’s call - Performing an Illegal pass - results in an INCOMPLETE for the chase driver - Getting legally passed- results in an INCOMPLETE for the lead driver ## 5. 12. PASSING Passing is allowed in Spec-D tandem battles. Passing is not required, but is legal for the chase vehicle to do as long as all four of the following conditions are met: - The lead driver must be offline or completely off course - The chase driver can only make a pass on an inside clipping point. - The chase driver can only make pass on the inside of the lead driver. - The chase driver becomes the lead driver once the chase vehicle has fully surpassed the lead driver’s vehicle. Upon completion of a properly performed legal pass, the chase driver will become the lead driver and must complete the run according to the judging criteria. Once the run is completed the vehicle that was passed will receive an INCOMPLETE on that run. Example: Driver Y and Driver Z both have 212 points at the end of the season, Driver Y finished 14th and Driver Z finished 13th in the most recent round. Driver Z will be will be ranked above Driver Z NEW / EXCLUSIVE - TELEMETRY DISPLAY For 2025-2026 drift seasons, the following telemetry display will be used: The tool works by perma-locking the "Spectated" driver in Assetto Corsa as the primary driver. The chase driver is automatically selected via calculation of how close the next slotted car in the server, and the respective telemetry displayed for that driver. In theory and from test runs, this should always be the chase driver displayed unless that driver wipes out on track and is knocked back - in this case, you will see the distance greatly increase and then the next closest car be displayed.  Displayed Data LINE 1 Left side: Spectated driver. This should always be the lead driver on the left stack. Nearest Chase Driver is displayed on the right stack.  Right side: [XXms] Players current ping. The color of the text will changed based on connection quality. (ping is not shown in replays) PING IS A MEASUREMENT OF THE TIME IT TAKES A DATA PACKET TO MAKE IT ROUND TRIP FROM YOUR DEVICE TO THE SERVER AND BACK IN MILLISECONDS. IF YOU HAVE A LOWER NUMBER, YOU HAVE A MORE DIRECTION CONNECTION TO THE SERVER. IF YOU HAVE A HIGHER NUMBER, YOU HAVE MORE OBSTRUCTED ROUTE TO THE SERVER CAUSING LATENCY - AKA HIGH PING.  LINE 2 Left side: Current car being driven. Right side: PITS Indicator (not shown in above screenshot) LINE 3 Current ground speed, and selected gear LINE 4 - RPM GAUGE, WITH RED LINE @ 90% LINE 5 - THROTTLE POSITIONING LINE 6 - BRAKE POSITIONING LINE 7 - MOCK FD ACCEL / DECEL INDICATOR LINE 8 - SLIP ANGLE (MAY BE FAULTY, ONLINE TELEMETRY IS SOMETIMES REPORTED IN EXCESS OF +30 DEGREES) LINE 9 - LATERAL G FORCES LINE 10 - STEERING ANGLE Mid Section / VS. row: LINE 1 - DISTANCE  Approximate Distance is calculated between the CENTER POINTS of the cars. A calibration setting is available in game to tweak this, but I have found that where it is at is optimal for most cars when sideways (where the measurement will actually count).  LINE 2 - A goofy text indicator i put in that changes text color / statuses based on distance.  LINE 3 - COLLISION WARNING INDICATOR This shows up based on a few select conditions I have chosen. I may tweak this more, so no description till this is finalized.  LINE 4 - CONTACT INDICATOR This shows up when the cars have less than 0.0m of proximity between them. Given this is measured from the centerpoint of the car, this should be used lightly for judging decisions.   THINGS TO BE AWARE OF: Assetto Corsa by default does not transmit handbrake or clutch pedal positions in the telemetry packets relayed to the server by default. Therefore, these cannot be used to measure any sort of data other than the actual client side input. This is why there is no Clutch or Handbrake bars - they would always show zero or N/A during event spectating. If you want to see these values on your own, just use the stock pedals app for the time being.  The ACCEL / DECEL light is based off of information I could find on how the lighting systems were wired in for FD Cars. FD uses clutch, throttle, and brake position sensors from the ECU with either an accelerometer or gyroscope as part of the input , but as of writing I have no way to get this data as mentioned above. Otherwise, the indicator is mocked as best as possible to match the very same conditions FD would use to assist with judging calls.  As a small feat to show the calls and data are there, the light will show CLUTCH indication when the driver providing inputs from their controller or pedals on their system only .   This will not be available for download until after the 2025-2026 season has completed.  THIS TOOL IS COMPATIBLE WITH REPLAYS. The higher the Hz setting is under settings CM, the smoother the data should appear.  You can also do the following should you want to save segments from the session you are currently in: Double check the keybind under  SETTINGS -> ASSETTO CORSA -> CONTROLS -> PATCH  to see if it is enabled. Default keybind should be CTRL+SHIFT+S This will save by default a 30 second replay file from the current session to disk.  Adjust the replay length captured by the above keybind by going to SETTINGS ->   CSP -> GENERAL SETTINGS. Look for the REPLAY TWEAKS  header and adjust clip duration to 60s.  Since this is a value stored in the CSP settings INI file, you can in theory do the following to extend it beyond 60s: Adjust the setting as mentioned above.  Save your settings to disk.  Open the ini file just saved in notepad You can cheat locating this on disk through windows explorer this by clicking save again, but then right click the file you just saved and click Edit. Just close the save window when notepad opens up. Press CTRL+F, and copy paste  [GENERAL:REPLAY]  and press enter You should see CLIP_DURATION=60 Adjust 60 to any other value in seconds Minutes Seconds 1 min 60 1.5 min 90 2 min 120 2.5 min 180 Save and close the INI file.  If you alter the toggle in the CM window, you will likely need to manually re-edit your INI file.  NEW / EXCLUSIVE - REALTIME COMPETITION LEADERBOARDS New!
